Hello Brooklyn: Join Us at Technically Speaking IRL
I’m so excited it’s Friday, but not just because it’s the end of the week. Tomorrow, I will be hosting an in-person Technically Speaking Meetup in Brooklyn, New York, and I'd love for you to join me and other members of the design community.
I’ve spent the past few years virtually interviewing BIPOC designers, entrepreneurs, technologists, and other change-makers on the Technically Speaking podcast and building a community of listeners around the world. If there is one thing I learned from all these conversations, it’s the power of connections and community. So, we’re welcoming everyone from aspiring designers to well-seasoned vets to join us for an evening of socializing.
Here are the details:
When: Saturday, October 8th 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. EST
Where: Ode to Babel, 772 Dean Street Brooklyn, NY 11238 (Parking in the area is limited, so I recommend a rideshare service)
What to expect: Good vibes, light bites, and cocktails in a chill, intimate setting. We have over twenty people RSVP’d for tomorrow’s event!
I hope to see you there!
If you’re not in the area, don’t worry we have more meetups planned in the future so be on the lookout for more details.
